Consulting a paediatrician at any of our clinics has its unique benefits. Not only is our paediatrician familiar with your child’s entire medical history, he or she also has access to the medical history of the entire family, when they are subscribed to any of our health packages (with your authorisation, of course). This facilitates faster diagnosis, better treatment choices and greater co-ordination with your family physician, leading to better treatment outcomes.

Specialist Referral

Sometimes the most difficult thing to figure out is which specialist or super-specialist doctor to go to when you have the need. Now you can relax and leave it to us.

We have some of the most experienced, well-qualified, ethical and patient-friendly specialist doctors on our referral panel. These specialists have been selected on the basis of their qualifications, years in clinical practice, communication skills and feedback from our referred patients. Depending on your clinical condition, your Personal Physician at NationWide will decide which type of specialist or super-specialist you need to see. Based on your personal requirements such as locality, timing and fees that you are willing to pay, we will provide a choice of at least 2 doctors for each referral. You are free to choose from them or even go to someone else of your choice. There is absolutely no financial tie-up or transaction with the specialist at any time in this entire referral process. Any fee charged is entirely between you and the specialist. Post-consultation, we will update your electronic medical records with the treatment information you provide, and follow-up on the same to ensure continuity of care.

Second Opinion

How many times have you wondered if that expensive bypass surgery suggested by the cardiologist for your father is really necessary? Or wanted to reconfirm a critical illness your spouse has been diagnosed with? We all want to be doubly sure and sometimes take a second opinion.

If you and your family feel the need for a second opinion, we can arrange to send your whole case summary to another expert of the same speciality in a different city, or if you prefer, to an international expert in a different country. We will not reveal your true identity or that of your doctor, so as to remove any chance of a biased medical opinion from the second doctor. This will save you valuable time, money and peace of mind, with a NationWide doctor at hand to explain any possible ramifications that the second opinion may have regarding your health concern.
